Activity: Habitat helps low-income families get a safe new home and gives you a chance to physically see all of the hard work you do.
Ways you can help: Build/construct a home, paint a home, build on a women-led project, greet/welcome other volunteers, or do non-construction work like office tasks
Times: Construction on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Shifts on Friday and Saturday are 8:00am-noon, 12:30-4:30 pm, and 8:30am-4:30pm

Activity: If you want to take an inside look at a hospital (without actually being sick), this is the organization for you!
Ways you can help: At the Gift Shop or the Information Desk, you can help deliver flowers and mail, or you can help organize/distribute supplies.
(Unfortunately, all the slots are full this year, but there is an application to volunteer there during the summer that will be up in January. All volunteers must have a flu vaccine in order to volunteer! Volunteering at UNC Hospitals is an all-summer or all-school year commitment.)
